He is survived by: his wife Kathy Cole; his children, Ina Spivey of Oakridge, TN, Jackie Haynes of Morristown, TN, Renee Marlowe (Stanley) of Harlan and Terry Shipley; his sister Betty Guthrie (Mike) of Black Mountain, Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Brandon Spivey of Oakridge, TN, Marissa Akers of Loyall, Brystal Marlowe of Harlan and Taylor Lee Cusick. He is also survived by son; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
