He is survived by: his wife Dana Young (Jacobs); his children, Erica Jacobs of Harlan, Eric Evans of Harlan, Jamie Jacobs of Harlan and Nathan Young of Harlan; his siblings, Neal Carter, Regina Mitchell, Shannon Harbin, Fredrick Carter and Mary Etta Young; his mother-in-law Diana Jacobs; his siblings-in-law, Paula Patton (Bennie), Donna Mason (Aaron), Lyle Jacobs and Donald Renfro; and his extended family Immanuel Baptist Church. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
