It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry Frank Doan of Harlan, Kentucky, who passed away on January 28, 2026, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Helen and Otis Doan; his grandparents, Frank and Sally Doan; his former wife Lois Doan; and his brothers, Otis Doan and Bill Doan.
He is survived by: his wife Merita; his children, Beth Hensley (Ryan), Brandy Ford (James), Amanda McPherson (Chad), Norma Young (Rick), Karen Sorrel and Larry Lloyd; his grandchildren, Harlee Hensley, Emilee Hensley, Aiden Ford, Aspen Ford, Jason Lloyd (Crissy), Hannah Housley, Kyndal Lloyd and Jack Lloyd; his cousin Rhonda Tyree (Doug); and his brother Dennis Doan (Pam).
The family suggest memorials be made in Frank's memory to Bluegrass Care Navigators (Hospice), 2972 S. US Highway 25 E, Barbourville, KY 40906 or envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
