He is survived by: his close friend Cheryl Collins; his children, Jacob Collins, Heather Hicks (Dakota), Shayna Collins and Courtney Collins; his siblings, George Middleton and Sheila Middleton; his grandchildren, Raelynn Engle, Emmalee Engle, Lane Hicks, Bailey Hicks, Dalton Noe, Oakland Collins, Caylee Ann Yount, Carmynlee Yount, Briar Grace Yount, Posey Ann Yount, Ripp Yount and Paxton Middleton; his close friend Teddy Smith; and his nephew Daniel Hensley. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mount Pleasant Funeral Home (122 N Cumberland Ave, Harlan, KY 40831). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Hicks-Middleton Cemetery (Cranks, KY 40820).
