He is survived by: his wife Alice Marie Shackelford Fortner of Robbins Chapel, VA; his children, Michelle Davis (Stevie "Tootie") of Robbins Chapel, VA, Valarie Dehart (Keith) of Robbins Chapel, VA and Johnny D. Fortner (Sharron) of Jonesville, VA; his siblings, Ronnie Fortner (Noyka) of Dandridge, TN and Vickie Fortner of Pennington Gap, VA; his sister-in-law Terry Fortner of Kingsport, TN.; and his grandchildren, Steven Ray Davis (Megan), Ashley Ewing, Dalton Ewing, Derek Davis, Emma Fortner, Ava Fortner and Mia Fortner. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
