It is with sadness that the passing of Joyce Ann Smith of Harlan, Kentucky is shared. Joyce, born on October 28, 1944, passed away on October 22, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Eldridge and Josephine Isom Eldridge; and her former husband Dewayne Smith. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Janessa Smith, Derrick Smith, Doyle Smith, Teddy Smith and Jennifer Skidmore; her great grandchildren, Kenzie and Lincoln; her daughter-in-law Libby Smith; and her siblings, Anthony Wade, Bernice, Pat and Mary.
A procession will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Henson & Rich Funeral Home (414 E Mound St, Harlan, KY 40831). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Charlie Smith Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy are asked to assist with funeral services.
