She was predeceased by: her parent Omega Caldwell Gross; her former husband Henry Simpson; her husband Cecil Caldwell; her daughter Helen Sue Huddleston (Roger Huddleston); her great grandchild Amelia Kate Jones; and her siblings, Marlie, Darrell, Homer Sullivan, Glenn Gross, Gail Greene, Ruth Baker and Glenda Ball.
She is survived by: her children, Henrietta Turner (Benny) of Bledsoe, Walter Keith Simpson (Joseph Stehman) of Maine and Henry Simpson (Dawn) of Bledsoe; her sisters, Reva Farley, Freda Williams and Janice Middleton; her grandchildren, Amanda Shelburne (TJ) of Pennington Gap, Virginia, Benjamin Turner of Williamstown, KY, Lisa Cook (Rusty) of Lafollette, TN and Carla Ditty (Nathan) of Michigan; her sisters, Jayden, Chase and Cadence Stehman; her great grandchildren, Dakoda Cook (Jimmy Douglas), Kara, Liam, Trey Cook, Nathan, Jude Ditty, Bentleigh, Maisyn, Sutton and Silas Shelburne; and her great great grandchild Lawson Douglas. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Anderson Laws and Jones Funeral Home (114 S 3rd St, Harlan, KY 40831). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
