She is survived by: her husband Isom Gerald Smith II; her sons, Isom Gerald Smith III (Sara Farmer), James David Shepherd and Carson Lynn Shepherd; her sisters, Joyce Faye Moore and Patricia Jean Johnson; her siblings-in-law, Virginia Johnson, James Maggard, Billy Brackett and Billy Smith (Doreen); her close friend Charlotte Farmer; and her pet Meeka.
