She was predeceased by: her parents, Steve Mitchell and Blanche Copeland Mitchell; her husband Alfred Gross; her brother Eugene Mitchell; and her sisters-in-law, Gloria and Janice Mitchell.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Sizemore (Kevin), Brad Brock (Jennifer), Brian Brock (Patty) and Melissa Gross; her grandchildren, Ashley Sizemore, Jacob Sizemore, Mallory Sizemore, Joshua Sizemore, Miranda Brock, Andrew Brock and Autumn Brock; her siblings, John L. Mitchell (Coretta), Jim Mitchell, Steve Mitchell (Ella), Juanita Brown (Harold) and Kila Viox (Jerry); and her close friend Beth Stallard. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Anderson Laws & Jones Funeral Home (114 S 3rd St, Harlan, KY 40831). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
