With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Wayne Phillips in Harlan, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 3, 2025 at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his mother Cleta Hatfield Balltrip; and his grandparents, Andrew and Josie Hatfield. He is survived by: his wife Von Phillips; his daughters, Patty Perkins (Jonathan) and De Clem (Jackie Ray); his grandchildren, Kelsey Halcomb (Jake) of Georgetown, KY, Emily Lewis (Ronnie) of Georgetown, KY, Ethan Clem of Harlan, KY, Ari of Georgetown, KY, Isaac of Georgetown, KY, Liam of Georgetown, KY and Chester of Georgetown, KY; and his brothers, Roddy Phillips (Janice) of Germantown, OH and Charles Hatfield (Carolyn).
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Resthaven Cemetery (3000 State Hwy 840, Baxter, KY 40806).
