She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Spurlock; her sons, Jonathan Spurlock (Kristie) and Justin Spurlock; her granddaughters, Victoria Spurlock, Addison Spurlock and Madison Spurlock; and her siblings, John Griffith and Lela Johnson (Alva).

In lieu of flowers the family request donation be made to Rose's granddaughters basketball team in her honor.
