He was predeceased by: his parents, Dave Jones and Lorene Couch Osborne; his sister Hannah Lou Rouse; his grandmother Hannah Hensley; and his nephew Eric Rouse.
He is survived by: his children, Paxton Hensley, Parker Hensley, Paige Simpson, Payton Simpson and McKenzie Collett; his grandchildren, Joseph Gross and Aaliya Simpson; and his siblings, David "Bug" Hensley, Ronald "Button" Hensley, Jeffrey Osborne and Rhonda Kay Laws.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Anderson Laws and Jones Funeral Home (114 S 3rd St, Harlan, KY 40831). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Resthaven Cemetery (3000 State Hwy 840, Baxter, KY 40806).
