He was predeceased by: his mother Irmgard Ruppert; his siblings, Judy Seelye and Larry Norton; and his grandson Jacob Gardner. He is survived by: his father Edward Clay Norton (Sylvia); his daughter Amanda Gardner (Jeremy) of Irvington; his grandson Matthew Gardner; his sisters, Jenny Smith (Charlie) of Webster, KY, Mary Kay Morgan of Hardinsburg, KY and Peggy O'Reilly (Paul) of Cloverport, KY; and his close friends, Taylor Hobbs and Eddie Kennedy. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews; three great-great nieces and nephews.
