He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Adkins and Mindy Newsome Adkins; his wife Loretta Williams Adams; his daughters, Marlene Adams and Carlene Adams; and his siblings, Mosie Adkins, Martha Adkins, Bernice Rogers and Gracie Adkins.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Edward Adams (Misty) of Harold, Randy Joe Adams (Avaleen) of Harold, Russell Adams (Brenda) of Banner, Laurine Hall (Teddy) of Harold, Jewel Gillam of Harold and Joyce Eldridge (Otis) of Whitesburg, Kentucky; and his sister Laura Frisby of Florida. He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren & A Host Great Grandchildren.
