He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Stevens and Mary Alice Justice Stevens; his wife Wanda Potter Stevens; and his siblings, Letha Tackett, Arnold Stevens and R. B. Stevens.
He is survived by: his daughter Linda Sturgill (Arnold); his grandson Kyle Sturgill; and his sister Eulavene Hawkins.
