Ann Kathleen Gillis Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on April 2, 2026, at the age of 65, Ann Kathleen Gillis of Harrodsburg, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Ann may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ann touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jason R. Tate and Ann K. Tate (Lee) of Lexington; and her sister-in-law Carol Tate (Emmett). She is survived by: her husband James M. Gillis; her son Benjamin M. Gillis; her brother Emmett L. Tate; her nephew Jay G. Tate; and her niece Kimberlee Tate.
