With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara A. Lyons (Harrodsburg, Kentucky), who passed away on September 27, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Barbara may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Peel and Joyce Mae Peel; and her siblings, Billy, Steve Peel and Patricia Mattingly.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Lyons; her daughter Joyce Rayens of Burgin; and her grandchildren, Jonathan Bailey of Hodgenville and Brianna Bailey of San Antonio, TX. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
