As Betty departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Betty. Though Betty may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Lawson (Dusty) and Evelyn Lawson; and her spouse Lee Allen Wright (Lee). She is survived by: her children, Charles S. Wright (Sue) of Franklin and LeAnne Adams (Nathaniel) of Milton, Kentucky.; and her brother Don Lawson of Oliver Springs, Tennessee.. She is also survived by four grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kerr Brothers Funeral Home - Harrodsburg Rd (3421 Harrodsburg Rd, Lexington, KY 40513). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 at the Final Resting Place Camp Nelson National Cemetery (6980 Danville Rd, Nicholasville, KY 40356).
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society.
