Though Brenda may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Brenda touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband William Douglas Himes; her parents, Richard Simmons and Juanita Donovan; and her brother Richard "Ricky" Simmons. She is survived by: her children, Terri Pedigo (Randy), Lisa Himes, William "Dino" Himes (Carol Lee) and Sandy Decker (Saul); and her siblings, Nancy Fox (Barry), Donna Cook (Ron) and Tom Fowler (Correna). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson and numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
