He is survived by: his wife Emily Stowe Bottoms (Hood); his parents, Richard Lenn Bottoms (Vickie Wilson Bottoms) and Nita Speakes Etebar; his siblings, Michael Bottoms (Jessica), Sina Etebar, Nema Etebar and Windy Etebar Penn (Collin); his nephew Mack Jones; his mother-in-law Nancy Juett Hood; and his sister-in-law Katie Jones (Brian).

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Harrodsburg Baptist Church or the Mercer County Humane Society.
