He is survived by: his wife Henrietta "Penny" Short (Bowman); his children, LaChrista Ellis of Harrodsburg and Christopher Simpson (Ceri) of Elizabethtown; his sisters, Lolita Short of Harrodsburg, Stephanie Browning (Jimmy) of Harrodsburg, Wilma Linton of Harrodsburg and Wanda Lay; and his grandchildren, Wynema Bell of Champagne, IL, Whitley Bell of Glenpool, OK, Khalil Ellis of Loganville, GA and King Lenyx Brown of Harrodsburg.
