He was predeceased by: his parents, William Counts and Lula Mae Roberts Counts; and his brother Gordon. He is survived by: his spouse Gail Lynn Vires Counts; his children, Sabrina Stone and Danny Paul Counts II; his grandchildren, Savannah Nunley, Eli, Benjamin, Jack and Allison Counts; his great grandchildren, Owen and Emi Nunley; and his siblings, William, Linda, Stephanie and Sherry. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kerr Brothers Funeral Home - E. Main (463 E Main St, Lexington, KY 40507). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
