She was predeceased by: her parents, George Holmes and Beatrice Holmes; her husband Larry Joe Thomas; and her daughter Judy Bivins. She is survived by: her children, Thomas W. Bivins (Gerry), Michael Bivins, Sr. (Tammy) and Wesley Bivins (Peggy); and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Bivins (Babb), Mary Elizabeth Bivins (Amber), Michael Bivins, Jr. of Lexington, KY, Joseph Benson (Brittany), Billy Akers (Chelsea), Feather Gast (Casey), Adrian Dickerson (Victoria), Benjamin Bivins, Jerome Hager, April Melvin and Olivia Smith. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
