He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl S. Nickel and Ada M. Nickel; and his brothers, Ron Nickel and Larry Nickel. He is survived by: his wife Dona L. Nickel; his sons, Mike (Susan), Brian (Stephanie) and Kevin (Kathy); and his adoptive son Rob Voorhees (Gail). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
