She was predeceased by: her parents, James H. Huffman and Ola Mae Huffman (Rhinehart). She is survived by: her husband Orban Wayne Mayes; her sons, Chris Mayes (Daphine) of Richmond, KY and Jarrod Mayes (Andrea Kidd) of Richmond, KY; her brothers, Bob Huffman of Salvisa, KY and Paul Huffman of Harrodsburg, KY; and her grandchildren, Alex, Abbey and Cole Mayes.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel (345 E Lexington St, Harrodsburg, KY 40330). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Spring Hill Cemetery Pavilion (529 N Greenville St, Harrodsburg, KY 40330).
