He is survived by: his mother Betty Steele of Harrodsburg; his children, Betty "BJ" Phillips of Burgin, Ashley Peach of Harrodsburg and Beau Claunch of Harrodsburg; his siblings, Scottie Joe Vaughn, Sr. (Jennifer) of Harrodsburg and Marsha Michelle Vaughn of Lexington; his stepsister Jessica Jewell of Harrodsburg; his fiancée Tasha Hurst of Parksville; and his brother Ralph Bays of Danville. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
