He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvin B. Strickland and Ruhama Strickland (Miller); and his brothers, Charles and Richard Strickland. He is survived by: his wife Maryann Strickland (Jackson); his children, Joann Sims (Jeff) of Mercer Co, Beth Strickland of Columbus, OH and Gene Strickland of Mercer Co; and his grandchildren, Brittany Sims (Jacob Humphrey) and Hunter Sims.
