She was predeceased by : her parents, Elmer McDonald and Frances McDonald; and her siblings, Florene, Jewel, Jean and Irene.

She is survived by : her nephew John Turner (Sherri). She is also survived by many friends, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kerr Brothers Funeral Home - E. Main (463 E Main St, Lexington, KY 40507). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Lorene's name may be made to Hospice East of Winchester, Kentucky.
