She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilson Buckler Worick Sr. and Lucy Hall Ferguson Worick; her husband James "Jim" Banta; her siblings, Tillie Worick Warfield and Wilson Worick Jr.; and her siblings-in-law, Billy Banta, Eleanor Banta Dale and Judy Banta Martin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Westerfield (Tom) of Lexington and Diane Prewitt (David) of Lexington; her grandchildren, Kevin Bedini of Lexington and Michelle Riedy of Buffalo, NY; her great grandchildren, Kara Riedy and Collin Riedy of Buffalo, NY; her great great grandchild Levi Riedy; and her caregivers, Vivian Nicolas, Chelsea Blair and Jennifer Bernstein. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Kerr Brothers Funeral Home - Harrodsburg Rd (3421 Harrodsburg Rd, Lexington, KY 40513). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
