She was predeceased by : her parents, Russell Cox and Hattie Louise Cox (Curry); and her siblings, Jim Cox, Dale Cox, Gary Cox and Phyllis Yocum.

She is survived by : her husband A. T. Dean Jr. of Harrodsburg; her daughters, Cheryl Witt (Michael), Lori Hutchins (Terry) and Angie Powell (John); her siblings, Sue Ramsey, Gayle Vice and Larry Cox (Nadine); and her close friend Maureen Dunn. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
