With sadness, we share the passing of Marilyn Dee Smart Hynson of Harrodsburg, Kentucky. Marilyn, born on June 10, 1944, passed away on August 17, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack W. Smart and Marion D. Smart; her siblings, Jack, Roger, Theresa and Jackie Smart; and her husband Frederick Hynson.
She is survived by: her daughter Malinda "Dee" Clark (Charles); her stepdaughter Wendy Haney (Danny); her grandchildren, Clay DeFoor, Danielle DeFoor, Tara Lander (Stephanie) of Morgan DeFoor, JP and Chase Haney; and her great grandchildren, Carter Townsend, Kynslee Townsend, Jayce Townsend and Emry Lander. She is also survived by her family, friends.
