We are sad to announce that on July 28, 2025, at the age of 96, Melba Donna Eckel Weaver of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, born in Camden, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Frederick Weaver; her parents, Melba Eckel and Joseph Eckel; her brothers, Joseph Eckel (Anna) and Robert Eckel; her grandparents, Jenny, Al Patton, Elizabeth and Frank Eckel; her grandson-in-law Lehman Oden; and her great great grandchild Kenzi Stern.
She is survived by: her daughter Donna Kidwell; her granddaughters, Kimberly Wolfe (Donald) and Nicole Oden; her great grandchildren, Tori Stern (James), Kelsey Kidwell, Cody Wolfe (Kendall), Kyle Wolfe (Morgan), Kenyon Oden and Kamryn Oden; and her great great grandchildren, Camden, Bodhi, Cyson, Grayson, Brady, Lainey, Karter and Logan.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kerr Brothers Funeral Home - Harrodsburg Rd (3421 Harrodsburg Rd, Lexington, KY 40513). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Kerr Brothers Funeral Home (3421 Harrodsburg Rd, Lexington, KY 40513). A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Lexington Cemetery (833 W Main St, Lexington, KY 40508).
