With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Earl Gilliland (Harrodsburg, Kentucky), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 20, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Earl and Hazel Mary Gilliland (Trusley). He is survived by: his son Mickey J. Gilliland of Harrodsburg, KY; his granddaughters, Tracie Gilliland of Harrodsburg, KY, Meredith Bruner (Aaron) and Blythe Gayheart (Jason); his great grandchildren, Lindsay Carter (Elliott), Lauren Prather (Jon), Hannah Sizemore, Hunter Gayheart and Avery Gayheart; and his great great grandchildren, Hallie Carter, Hayzlie Carter, Brooks Carter, Aubrey Prather, Miley Prather and Preston Prather.
