He is survived by: his wife Betty Sue (Hall); his children, Robert Shawn Simpson (Angie) and Krista Beth Oberg; his grandchildren, Alexandra Grimes (Richard), Matthew Oberg, Katie Garrett and Jacob Simpson (Haley); and his brother Pat Simpson (Laura) of Frankfort, Kentucky.. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
