He was predeceased by : his parents, William Anthony Jeter and Thelma Harnett Jeter; and his siblings, Thelma Bowman, Patricia DuBois, Ellen Jeter, John, Billy, Leonard, Joe, Philip, Jimmy and Paul.

He is survived by : his son Robert Wayne, Jr.; his stepchildren, Sean Thomas Maguire (Amy) and Shari Maguire Erickson (Donald); his stepgrandchildren, Liam, Brendan, Meredith, Megan and Molly; his siblings, Betty Sutton, Mary Jeter, Norma Draper, Jenny Jeter and Tommy Jeter (Shirley); and his caregiver Rob Birchum. He is also survived by several loving nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Peter Catholic Church (225 W Lexington St, Harrodsburg, KY 40330). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
