He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel E. Laborio and Maria Defusco Laborio; and his sister Marie Laborio Emmett. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Carpenter Laborio; his children, Diane Marie Laborio of Wake Forest, Thomas Ellis Laborio Jr. (Anne), Carol Ann Young (Rob) of Lexington, Kentucky and Christine Laborio-Garner (Jack) of Indianapolis, Indiana.; his brother Robert Laborio (Judy); his grandchildren, Ben Laborio (Kelsey) of Lexington, KY, Amanda Olmsted (Travis) of Lexington, KY, Jaclyn Slomianyj (Owen) of Chapel Hill, NC, Josh Young (Hope) of Lexington, KY, Scott Young of Lexington, KY, Jessica Adkins (Natalia) of Bristol, England and Nicole Adkins of Indianapolis, IN.; and his great grandchildren, Charlotte, Cooper Laborio, Harry Olmsted, Gideon Young and Marisha Adkins-Mikucka.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pax Christi Catholic Church (4001 Victoria Way, Lexington, KY 40515). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
