He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his son Troy Gowins (Sherri) of Harrodsburg; his siblings, Larry Wayne Gowins of Mt. Washington, KY and Joann Bowman (Kelly) of Harrodsburg; and his grandchildren, Cody Gowins (Hannah) of Harrodsburg, Whitney Henry of Harrodsburg and Travis Gowins (Bethany) of Lexington. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
