He is survived by : his wife Brenda Joyce Smith Lunsford; his children, David Lunsford and Stacy Lunsford Gillim; his grandchildren, Blaine Gillim, Breely Gillim, Bayla Bickwermert, Adam Lunsford, Clay Lunsford and Shelby Lunsford; his siblings, Mary Jane Gustin, Dottie Rose (John), Kenny Lunsford (Liz) and Charles Lunsford (Sharon); and his great grandchild Jaxson Lunsford Olivie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and life-long friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bevil Bros. Funeral Home (226 Louisville Rd, Beaver Dam, KY 42320). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
