Dorothy leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Dorothy’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Dorothy will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Peach and Mary Peach (Gray); her daughter Cathy Lewis; and her brother Chester Peach. She is survived by: her husband Ballard Lewis; and her children, Kasandra Jones (David), Theresa Smith, Robert Lewis (Julie) and Richard Lewis (Gina). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Victory Baptist Church of Roselawn (9784 Bunker Hill Dr, De Motte, IN 46310). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at the Oakwood Cemetery (531 Embry Woods Dr, Hartford, KY 42347).
