We announce the death of Eddie Lou Bratcher of Hartford, Kentucky, who passed away on June 4, 2026, at the age of 87. Eddie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, J. E. Reynolds and Pearl Payton Reynolds; and her son James "Kevin" Bratcher. She is survived by: her husband James "Jim" Bratcher; her daughter Kim; her son-in-law Steve Bennett; her grandsons, Alan Bennett (Holly) and Michael Bennett (Kori); and her great grandchildren, Alleigh, Kinley, Lane, Maci Bennett and Branson Calloway.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to New Baymus Cemetery Fund (First United Bank) or Hospice of Ohio County.
