He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake M. Tanner and Clorene Proctor Tanner; his son Mike Tanner; his daughter-in-law Mary Jill McLevaine; his granddaughter Taran Michelle McLevaine; and his sister Brenda Kaelin.
He is survived by: his son Jim Bob Tanner (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Taylor Collignon (Paul), Jacob Tanner (Jessica), Brittany Laster and Matthew Laster; his great grandchildren, Brayden Dominick, Anna Tanner, Riley Mauzy, Morgan Mauzy and Ian Collignon; and his siblings, Elizabeth Ann Creager and Marshall Tanner. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
