We announce the death of Larry B. Allen of Hartford, Kentucky, who passed away on September 6, 2026, at the age of 79. Larry will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Buford Allen and Susie Barnett Allen; and his brother Jerry Allen. He is survived by: his wife Sarah "Faye" Goatee Allen; his children, Tracy Jenkins and Sonya Everly; his grandchildren, Sarah, Amy, Jessica, Spencer and Cheryl; his great grandchildren, Ethan, Erica, Ella, Avery, Brooklyn, Jake, Anna, Jaden, Kimberly, Cheyenne, Kennedy, Lola, Oliver and Jack; his great great grandchildren, Rosalie and Taitly; and his brother Ron Allen.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Simplicity Church at Ohio County Community Center (130 Washington St, Hartford, KY 42347). A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
