He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Basil Embry and Azel Lindsey Embry; his son Robert Brian "Squatty" Embry; and his brother Wendell Paul Embry. He is survived by: his wife Elda Beatty Embry; his daughter-in-law Gail Tooley Embry; his grandchildren, Lauren Jackson (Shane), Dawson Embry and Graham Embry; his great grandchild Eleanor Jackson; and his siblings, Joanna, Phillip, Linda and Gary. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Cedar Grove Church.
