She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe Patterson and Martha Bratcher Patterson; her grandparents, Orville, Cordelia Bratcher, Marion and Artelia Patterson; her siblings, Brenda Payton, Sue Payton, Roscoe Patterson, Jr., Alicia and Jeannette; her brothers-in-law, Jimmy Payton, JC Payton and Gregory Sutton; and her in-laws, Damon, Mary Embry and Christine Embry.
She is survived by: her husband Jack Embry of Hartford; her daughters, Tara Embry (Jason Wood) of Cromwell and Melissa McIntyre (Andy) of Centertown; her grandsons, Justin Embry (Katelynn), Ayden McIntyre and Keegan Cooper; her great grandchildren, Sophia York and Caroline Embry; her sister Penny Sutton; and her siblings-in-law, Edna Patterson, Judy Embry, Matt Embry (Gayle) and Jeff Embry.
