He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry Coy and Ethel Zigler Coy; and his siblings, Carl Coy, Frank Coy, Darrell Coy, Nora Mae Schultz, Nancy Calloway, John Coy, Dave Coy, Charles Coy and Danny Kaye Coy.
He is survived by: his close friend Robin Smith of Hartford; his sons, Thomas Coy (Melinda) of Evansville, Indiana, Barry Cooper (Jacquline) of Cromwell and Kevin Baize of Hartford; his siblings, Emma Roach of Fordsville and Paul Coy; and his pets, Branch, Cindy Leftwich (Alan) of Hartford and Patricia (Bill) of Indiana. He is also survived by several grandchildren as well several nieces and nephews.
