He was predeceased by: his parents, George Thomas and Viola Byrd Lewis; and his son Thomas Allen Lewis. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Barbee Lewis; his daughter Christina Dixon (Chuck); his grandchildren, Charles, Christopher, Cody, Ashley and Tiffany; and his sister Ruth Schroader. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
