He was predeceased by : his father Charlie B. Snyder; his wife Virginia Snyder; his son Richard Priest; and his siblings, Mary Snyder, Bessie Nugent, Clara Dunn and Donald Snyder.

He is survived by : his children, Janice Stinebruner, Rita Estes, Donna Estes (Frankie) and Jerry Priest (Carla); and his sister Sarah Ann (Mike). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
