He is survived by: his father Joseph Miles; his wife Candi Whalen Nelson; his children, Torrey Sue Nelson and Gage Lionel Nelson; the mother of his children Terry Sue Parker; and his nieces, Jenny Wiscauer, Helen Green, Destiny Stroud, Jessica Sarnowski and Emily Kendall.
