Lorene Rice Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorene Rice of Hawesville, Kentucky, who passed away on October 26, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Lorene's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Lorene has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Levi Rice and Flora Young Rice; and her brothers, Donald Earl Rice, Lester Austin Rice and Eugene Rice.
She is survived by: her niece Donna (Wade); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Lester Rice (Ethel), Patricia, Crystal and Jeff.
A graveside service was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mount Eden Baptist Church (5150 State Rte 69, Hawesville, KY 42348).
