She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Arington and Rachel Hale Arington; her former husband Russell Adkins; her daughters, Bonita Gale Powers and Ginger Willoughby; her husband Cecil Keown; her siblings, Marshall Arington, Emma Boutcher, Audrey Brown and Lucille Toler; and her great grandchildren, Jonathan "Tyler" Horton and Emme Powers.
She is survived by: her daughter Billie Potts (David) of Hawesville; her brother Rex Arington of Auburn, IN; her grandchildren, Russell Powers (Wavina), Rachel Ramsey (Matt), Joey Frakes (Jill), Judy Kleeman (Wes) and Cliff Potts (Lena); and her son-in-law Alan Frakes (Dee). She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy in the form of donations to Hancock County Senior Services, the Hawesville Food Pantry, the Heartford House, or breast cancer research.
